This would be a good step in increasing the retail and industrial long-term economic viability of Patriot Place and environs. It would also be a good incentive for companies looking to expand in the Route1-Route 495 area (think hi-tech or bio-tech office park located across from the stadium). It might create problems for the local properties abutting the rail line-what impact would increased train traffic have on the animals at Lawton’s? what would be the hours of operation? Noise levels? Additional horn soundings? Just some things to consider in the planning and development processes.
