TM searches and Selectmen’s Squabbles not limited to Foxborough

Double duty for area selectmen (Wrentham, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 1:47 AM EDT)

With Town Administrator Jack McFeeley scheduled to leave Oct. 1……Board members then engaged in an at times heated discussion of e-mails and talks of how and what…..Selectman Robert Leclair questioned how the matter has been handled. “It was not a unilateral decision by the chair,” Langley said…… “We’re sick and tired employees of hearing all this bickering.” ……More than 25 candidates have applied for the position. A seven-member search committee is interviewing candidates Thursday and Friday to come up with finalists for selectmen…….

They’re happy with more than 25 candidates for the job, but Foxborough didn’t like the initial pool of 27 candidates? Being an up-and-coming boomtown (see this video from Ch. 5/projected population spike, new homes, and increased traffic), Wrentham might need a professional headhunter!

Selectmen’s Squabbles are not exclusive to Foxborough.
